Advanced Playout format editor
TrafficSat provides two systems for programming format creation and edition that constitute the basic structure from which schedules generate. Thus, specifications regarding blocks and commercial breaks schedule distribution will be entered, as well as the insertion of headlines, commands and sponsorships/ features, among others.

basic formats can be quickly created following the steps defined by the system and the help of a constant tutorial guide.

Multiple stations management
An advertisement order may arrange from one single station up to sixteen ones. It allows gathering them as combo or simulcast orders type.

Different position definitions within commercial break
To easily fulfill the advertiser requirements, the system allows defining the advertisements different positions within the commercial break.

Commercial break head: scheduled ads will be inserted by the system at the beginning of the commercial break. /li>

Commercial break foot: the spot is inserted at the end of the commercial break.

Correlated head and foot: in this case, advertisements are scheduled both at the beginning and at the end of the commercial break.
Competitive support separation
TrafficSat STD separates the competitive advertisers. If necessary, different separation levels can be assigned to each area avoiding the insertion in the same commercial break or even in the adjacency. However, -if the station’s policy allows it- it is possible to include two or more competitive advertisers within the same commercial break. In this case, they will be separated at the most and will never be inserted with the minimum configurable separation. Each area can be freely customized among all these alternatives.
Different advertisement versions management
Logistics get complicated when the advertiser wishes to rotate more than one audio version of a commercial, especially when the number of daily playout differs from the number of versions. In this case, it is necessary to consider which versions were played out the days before for an even rotation. TrafficSat STD performs rotations automatically. All you have to do is to set the playout percentage of each version, and the system deals with rest of the work.
Scheduled art
Together with advertising, TrafficSat STD allows including jingles to have a commercial break ready to play out. In each block, jingles can be set as fix or random: at the beginning, at the end of the commercial break or sparkled between advertisements. This can be included easily and automatically in the format each time the commercial break is generated.
Scheduling within shows
Very frequently, the advertiser wishes his ad to be played out during a specific show. If the show is rescheduled for any reason, TrafficSat STD automatically changes all scheduled ads for the new sked.
Optional modules
Certification
This module allows producing stylized presentations of playout certifications. It can take data from the scheduling records or from the radio playout records. It is equipped with an editor that is able to perform line-by-line alterations or massive conditional alterations to create the records crude output. Each presentation sheet includes an editable notarial text. The output format can be designed for regular or for window envelops. Certifications can be made for an advertiser or for a pre-selected batch. Printer output or export Word format.
Commercial management
It enhances capacity to include agencies, salespersons and to put rates and amounts to advertising orders. It offers dozens of reports and inquiry means to control business’ progress and performance, available inventory, contracts coming due and much more possibilities.
Playout audit
This optional module performs scheduling electronic conciliation. It takes playout record data and checks it with the scheduled info. By means of visual signs, it highlights differences for fast detection. This allows close playout follow-up to detect not played out competitive ads within their scheduled time, playout shifts as well as not scheduled at all competitive ads playouts, or played out more times than it has been scheduled. It allows rescheduling compensation from the module itself, that is, with no need to alter the advertising order.
Billing (Requires Commercial management module)
This optional module is made up of the billing control board. The different activities that make up the billing cycle are handled from this board.
Each invoice can be issued for the order total amount or by a completely configurable period. The system follows up each order to bill from the first invoice till the cycle is over.
The system automatically links and presents data from the playout audit and from the advertising order, so that the operator is able to check and, according to the circumstances, choose to bill from any of these options.
Once created, the invoice can be edited and modified. The invoice can include items such as scheduled/ played out competitive advertising as well as production expenditures. These amounts are featured in different colors for fast identification. Furthermore, inquiries related to the order being processed can be done from the board.
